2010-2011 NBA Thread

I think there is probably a good amount of people in the NBA who want the Bulls over the Heat.

The Bulls just need to play better.

so, it's not good, but you can't call it out? come on... three quick ones to start the quarter...the one with wade shooting from behind the backboard. they're f***ing bail out calls because the refs don't want the game to look silly when the offensive player loses the ball.

Not saying the officiating is good. But there were already posts before the game started about how the refs were going to screw the Bulls over. As if the MVP, playing in Chicago, isn't going to be good enough for the NBA in a finals matchup.

It's not necessarily that they don't want the Bulls in the finals. It's that they want this series to be a long one.

Pretty much. The defense fell apart in the second quarter. Offensive rebounding wasn't there either.

So I see the refs have made their choice

Stern and the NBA want max revenue and max ratings. In their eyes, the Bulls and Heat are probably equals in terms of ratings (Miami has more star flare, Chicago much bigger market), so in order to get the most out of it, have the series go 7.

nope, we're all irrational bulls fans who are seeing things that we want to see. nevermind that the announcers are even calling it out...

The defense fell apart because Thib went with a more offensive oriented line up.

Korver, Rose, Boozer are not outstanding defenders. With the 3 of them on the floor you have Deng, Rose and Korver to guard Bibby, Lebron and Wade. That means Rose is guarding Wade, not a great match up. Id rather have Brewer or Bogans on Wade and then Rose back on Bibby. The Bulls on offense need to be methodical and until Korver starts hitting with more consistency hes just to much of a liability with Lebron and Wade on the floor. You just cant even consider switching him to one of them.

Even if Rose can stay with Wade, the pick with Lebron just sets Rose up for an even worse match up. Bogans/Brewer both played Lebron adequately but asking Rose to is just pretty far fetched.

I think these are all problems that can be solved, Bulls were just missing shots, its going to happen. But the Bulls key is defense and they need to go back to what got them here.

Calling out refs isn't a problem. Calling out refs and saying the game is over and they won't let the Bulls win is when the conversation goes from being annoying to stupid.

Well, I think we know how this is gonna turn out. Bulls in foul trouble starting in the middle of the third. Wade/Lebron with a ton of ft attempts just like I called it earlier today. f*** the NBA refs

whoa just checked soxgame peavy with 3 hitter

Nobody did

Horrible 3 point shooting.

Yep, and quote where I said they were going to lose as a result of the refs

Too many offensive boards by Miami. Take Boozer out of there.

That's sure what your post sounded like.

Big stretch right here, Bulls need to hit a shot.

Also I think time to sit boozer to get taj in and not get abused in that screen.

Bulls struggling. It's like you can feel this game pulling away.

Make some damn shots...

Heat have done a good job denying the lane to rose

What Rose just did there to Bibby, where the hell has that been all game?

another blown call1

how much do NBA refs make?

I wonder if Reggie has matching pom-poms to go with his heat panties.

Rose is incredibly off today.
