The Royals scored 3 runs on seeing eye singles. I wouldn't make much of this game other than the fact that our bullpen needs to stop blowing leads.

 

They also made some outs that were screaming line drives. Pitch better and make sure we don't blow our offensive load in the first inning. And the elf needs to go.

If we lose tomorrow we're off to a somewhat depressing start considering the opposition.

Just a very underwhelming pitcher. Fastball has lost a few mph from his days in Arizona, and he doesn't get a lot of swings and misses on his offspeed pitch. Definitely wish he still wasn't a member of the roster.

Extra innings were absolutely brutal and Sale got beat by the damn count, if he gets ahead of hitters he's going to be unhittable, and I have no doubt that will be the case this year. On the other side of that, Pena is definitely garbage, you knew this game was over once he came in.

 

It sure does suck to lose games like this but hopefully Mark gets us back on track tomorrow.
