I think that curve is the only real reason why, lol.

The problem with him is that the curve never really materialized at the ML level (and even in the minors). He brought it out today though.

So no one runs on contact with two outs anymore? Fuld got to it quick... but there are teams who score three there.

Quentin was the guy on first. He's not all that fast.

I wonder how many times CQ will get walked this year so that they can face AJ.

He really could use some decent support. I'd have to think when Dunn comes back Quentin gets bumped up and maybe Rios hits behind him.

Park this

That's two walks for Alexei today.

Mark Teahen, do your thing.

Some of u guys woulda buried Oz had AJ whiffed or popped up.

Think about that next time it's lefty/lefty. It works sometimes.

AJ baby!

lol. That called ball 4 looked like a definite strike.

I realize that. My point still stands.

Alright, bullpen... don't f*** this up.

That's about 10% of the walks he'll be getting this season.

And come on Teahen, McGee had a lot of trouble finding the zone that inning and you swing on the first pitch?

McGee's gotta be done soon...

Ok Yogi Berra.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand he swings at the first pitch....super.

I didn't even know there was a ladies tee...

I honestly think it woulda been a good idea to PH but I'm not gonna "bury" Ozzie for that one... and if I don't I doubt there are many others here who will, lol.

The Rays are awful. I say this knowing full well they could come back and win this game. But it's sad to see a team fall this bad because of money.

It'll be Santos and Sale, especially if the Sox score a couple more runs.

It's Santos

This guy needs to be our closer.

I agree.

You don't think that Oz will throw Thornton out there again?

That was the perfect pitch to a left handed hitter.

This guy needs to be our closer.

Agreed; this has been my mentality as far back as last season after seeing his stuff.

Doubtful, since he threw 33 pitches last night. But with Ozzie, you'll never know.
