I love walkoffs.

Probably the most exciting thing in all of sports if you ask me.

Finally a walk-off HR win and a win in extras! Exactly what the team needed after last night's disaster. We sure make beating the A's look monumental. Let's crush em tomorrow. GO SOX! :cheers :gosox3:

Santos looked like a closer tonight. Hope Ozzie comes to his senses.

Tough win, but it was good.

Finally a game i can walk off drunk from! Alexeiiiii!!!

Hahahaha just saw the replay of Lexi's walk-off. He looks like he scared himself.

jesus christ Tony Pena is useless. USELESS. it's GUARANTEED he will give up runs when you bring him in

First of all, great bomb by Lexi. Loved it.

I don't know why everybody wants to designate a closer on this team. The minute we call Santos the closer he'll probably fail as well.

Just let Ozzie play his gut and give different guys opportunities to close.

Yes I would go with Sergio, but you still can give Sale and Thornton some opportunities as well,.

It's too bad Pierre can't catch a fly ball when Thornton is pitching. Who knows? He might have a save or two.

Not as good as the shot from the front in 2008 against Detroit, but I still like the look.

Sweet. I missed the ending, but don't mind at all! :headbang

The sad part is that we get a walkoff homer and the thread is now 14 responses long. Yesterdays post game threads are now 75 and 142 posts long. Soxtalk really does love losing...

Even the game thread last night was really slow, it definitely picked up once A's tied it up

Is there any message board for any sports team in the world with more resultant activity and posting relating to team wins rather than losses?

If there is, I would love to see it.

Yep this thread is too short. Better throw my two cents in.

Ok.

Sergio and Chris are a freakin joy to watch.

Nice to see the count beat another pitcher this year instead of one of ours, nice ab there by Alexei to win it!

When the game ends bad in the 9 o'clock hour, you'll get a lot of comments. When the game is slow paced and ends after 10:30, you won't.

Got to watch the replay and saw myself on TV, its been awhile. Funny thing when Pierre handed me the foul ball Sweeney hit, he immediately remembered I was the guy giving him s*** since the pregame.

I then sold the ball for $20 bucks to some old man.

Yeah, they haven't been taping the Jerry Springer show for a while now, have they?
