Its getting to the point learning the new league and minor surgery can't be used as excuses anymore. There has to be some concern over deterioration of ability, although I can't see him hitting less than 30 homers if he makes it through the season healthy.

He usually has a much better eye at the plate. This is pathetic seeing so many of our hitters chase these junk pitches.

Young guy, has a solid fastball (93mph) and a Marmolian slider. He learned the hard way last week not to throw a fastball to Mike Stanton. However, he might be Cardinals closer of future and at very least, a sick righty set-up man.

Ozzie, it's time to give Juan a day off! That bat is just dragging through the zone.

Danks has the worst ERA of all of the starters.

 

He is a six inning pitcher, can not put hitters away and has average control. His average innings per start is almost exactly 6.0.

 

I am not sure why he is guaranteed a spot in the rotation over anyone as he is wildly inconsistent.

 

He is a nice number three pitcher.
