No evidence points to this. Evidence is he has fallen off physically.

Why didn't he fall apart last year when he was given a career high in save opportunities?

He hasn't lost any velocity and last year he was never anything more than a set up man. This year though, he was anointed closer from the beginning. Quite a big difference there.

Beckham with a gapper maybe? Too bad we can't pinch run for AJP.

Can't Lillibridge catch?

No chance Beckham catches up with that 97 MPH pitch Jensen has.

Crap, great pitch for Beckham to hit.

ton of hittable pitches that they do nothing with

Do the Sox ever blow anybody out?

Fausto.

The 3-1 Quentin took was the perfect pitch for him to end this game on.

I know it's still "early" in some people's minds but it would be s***ty to drop a game on Cleveland and fall 11 back in loss column after picking up 2 games on them in 2 days.

How bout a walkoff win. We're in our home stadium.

God Beckham is so f***ed up at bat. He has no chance vs any decent fastball.

That was a strike

Gordon, swing the bat young man.

You strike out a lot.

Dodgers are 3-0 in extra innings. Not liking this one.

never mind.

just saw the lowlight on the Mitchell tying HR. AJ was calling for the pitch outside and low, Santos delivered it right down the middle, with a little tailing in. mistake pitch and Mitchell got it.

lol...Hawk called him out before the umpire did....and than proceeded to say it looked up and in.

At this point, the only pitch Beckham can hit hard is a hanging off-speed pitch.

Beckham's turning into a real whiner.

I don't know if that was a ball or strike but it was impossible to hit.

Seems like we have close games every night out the last couple weeks but I may be forgetting some games.

How bout getting some insurance runs once in a while White Sox??

s***ty pop up by Rios.

Horrible effort.

The Indians.

We wouldn't be here if we walked Kemp like we should have in the first...

I love the shock when our players lay off close pitches late in games and get rung up.

the 5.14 ERA of Kelly Jansen does not tell the whole story. He threw a ton of hittable pitches and that Sox did s***.

It's tough to want Sergio to be perfect, but damn ... we've been playing so much better and still f*** it up with 2 outs in the ninth.

Geezus.

Sergio coming back out here? Or Sale coming in?

Beckham made the right call on laying off of that pitch anyways. He wouldn't have been able to hit that if he tried, ball or strike.
