I know. I edited the last post. I read it as Peavy just gave up a hit to the worst hitter on the team.

That slider had very little bite also. He doesn't seem to be letting it fly tonight

The game he pitched the shutout -- high pitch count -- stupid.

 

Honestly, between letting Jackson and Peavy go too long in games, overextending Santos or Thornton for no apparent reason, having a 6-man rotation, or continuing to trot out Pena, Guillen and Cooper have had as bad a year handling this staff as I can ever remember. They are flat-out terrible this season.

Is it me, or does it seem like on this road trip, the opposition is doing a great job of running at the right time in order to break up double plays or create holes in the infield?
