Here we go, boys! The magic number is 16.

Is this the only thread for the playoffs? No pseudo-gamethread for the Hawks?

Jonathan Toews, 1 month missed, 2 shifts, 1 goal.

It was a weak goal to give up by Mike Smith, but dammit we'll take it! Welcome back #19.

I would have Toews' kids if necessary. We'll figure it out.

Shane Doan actively taking shots at Tazer's head. Someone needs to blow him up.

Shaw needs too settle down NOW!

I find it mildly amusing that Phoenix has a white-out tonight, but the Hawks are the team wearing white.

2nd period = bad. Long long changes, blown TMM, ugh.

Being severely out hit and horribly losing the face off numbers. Add a terrible power play and this team has a short series ahead of them.

Fortunately the Yotes PP has looked awful too. They've certainly had their chances against Smith.

Hopefully the missed too many men penalty doesn't beat the Hawks.

Shannahan just lost all credibility. Absolutely baffling that Weber wasn't suspended. Probably should have been suspended the entire series.

Total joke. Utterly indefensible.

Ok, lets not get ridiculous. A game, sure.

Ridiculous?

No, not suspending him at all is ridiculous. Suspending him for the entire series for punching someone in the back of the head and then slamming him face first into the glass would be sending a message for a league trying phase headshots out of the game.

Seabrook ties it 2-2............heading too OT!

Yes. Ridiculous. An entire series...ok

What a game. Andrew Shaw has been one of (some might argue is) the best Hawk players on the ice in his first playoff game.

They could not clear there own zone all night long.............that was the difference.

A pretty lazy icing to get the draw as well. Any d zone draw is terrible in overtime, you don't need to just give them away.

If Bollig sniffs the ice in game 2 I'm going to flip.

Sharp was absolutely awful all game. Hossa didn't do a whole lot either. Sometimes this team plays with their head so far up their ass and make some terrible decisions. Win more faceoffs, clear the zone and go get 'em in game 2.

I guess it has to be encouraging that so many players could play that poorly and they still had a real chance to win the game.

Still baffling how the power play can be that bad all year long.

Especially because Shanny gave out a two game suspension for a charge later the same day.

Dead on

What is the deal with hayes he would look good as a late line option to me. The bad play by nick in the second to not let Crawford kill the play was huge.
