My name is Ozzie

and boy do I have a knack for bringing in the wrong guy. Ozzie, you idiot, you just brought in Brian Bruney at the crucial point in this game. How is that ok? Seriously?

He was probably hoping to use his better guys in extra innings.

Holy s*** Juan Pierre JUST MISSED a walk off homerun.

Welcome to the White Sox, Mark.

Is this his first big moment as a Chisox?

He had a game tying HR in the 9th inning last year vs. Toronto.

Whoa my MLB Gameday is all messed up. Says Teahen just tied it on a PH 3-run HR lol

That a boy Teahen and Ozzie! Great spot to use him

Sweet, did we win the game?

We need to win now.

Back to normal with Pierre.

Brent swing hard and see if you hit something. Or take a walk.

Can some describe how Pierre just missed a walkoff?

C'mon Morel, get a double here and let Alexei drive you in.

As bad of a move as bringing in Bruney was, Ozzie's use of Teahen was the exact opposite.

Teahen destroyed Toronto in that game.

Did this really happen? (and if it was in a forest and no one heard it, did it really happen)

Holy cow that's the hardest I've cheered all year. Then I was dropped to my knees by Juan's fly down the line. Oh boy that would have topped them all.

I'm telling you the White Sox are passed due for a walk off...

Alright Ozzie. You saved your good arms for extras. Now use them!

It takes a brilliant manager to pitch hit Teahan in that situation.

I think he tomahawk chopped it down the RF line...had the distance, but foul.

Line drive 10 feet foul down the RF line.

When he came to the plate I recalled him having a huge hit last year, walk-offish style (anyone?). And I thought to myself "it's time f***er, I got your card next to Lilli's" (in my ironic cards of shame in my Sox room) and then it happened. Surreal. This is why I watch the games. I always a few ticks behind those watching on TV due to internet delay, but man! I'm alone and just celebrated like I was at the bar.

Well MLB hasn't posted a video yet so I'm thinking no.

Edit: Well, I'll be damned

Teahen was 4-5 in a game the Sox won against Toronto last year. He tied the game in the 9th, then gave the Sox the lead in extras.

He hit the ball out but it was foul by just a little bit.

Looks like Santos will be entering the game now.

Not sure why Crain isn't available. Well, let's just cross our fingers Sergio has his control and his offspeed stuff like the Cubs' series.

Thought I'd log in to say something I've wanted to for over a year: Welcome to The South Side Mr. Teahen!
