I dare you to say that to her face.

I know it's a great gesture and I appreciate it, but I still say that statute sucks. It's like one of those Starting Lineups you didn't want and couldn't wait to trade.

It does look bad from the picture. It looks like he's trying to club someone after being stabbed in the chest. Just another example of the Sox buying more bad product.

That statue could probably put up some better number than this lineup. They should activate it.

I thought the statue looked pretty good up close, but the pose seems to be of him shanking one down the right field line, not drilling the ball somewhere.

Or one of his famous duck snorts to shallow right.

awesome, well deserved! Glad they righted the ship with Frank.

Anyone catch AJ call Frank "The Big Skirt" during the player tribute portion?

Too bad they didn't announce Frank as the new hitting coach during the ceremony.

I still don't think Frank would be a good coach. He wasn't really a people person.

He could set up a video cassette highlight reel for the hitters once a week for an hour and never even speak to them. That alone might improve our offense.

He's way more personable now than he used to. I'm proud of how much friendlier he's become.

You mean Frank Thomas who couldn't work with a hitting coach and had to bring in his own guy when he would go badly... As a hitting coach? Ironic

Anyone have a picture yet?

Took it myself:

Man, I need to go to a game to see this. I grew up idolizing Frank Thomas. This is such a worthy statue, I can't even begin to explain.
