Hopefully he can make some progress over the offseason. This would typically be the time you'd expect to see a guy "breakout". Heck, if he could get up to .280 with 10-15 HR's and a good number of doubles with his defense that would be fantastic. He's a stud defensive 2nd baseman.

I think Peavy is going to have a great year for the Sox next year. He's got good stuff, good command and should be a lot stronger a year from now.

The question has to be whether he'll get the snap back on his slider. With that pitch he can be a very good pitcher, without that pitch he's not going to be able to put away RH hitters regularly.

I miss the Q that drives the ball the opposite field at times....
