Wouldn't it be awesome if, instead of making the Marlins trade us someone, we could just make Ozzie take Rios with him to Florida?

How come it's only our 2008 MVP front runner that hurts himself when he's frustrated? How did Zambrano and others never get hurt?

Personally I don't mind Rios flipping out. That is just me. When you're pissed you gotta let it out. The real person to blame is Ozzie, for having him in there in the first place. He is not a major league caliber baseball player right now and De Aza should take each and every start that he had in mind for Rios.

LOL, that would be awesome. Doubt we'd see him in the 4 slot though, unless Kenny was hired as the GM in Florida as well

I still think Zambrano for Rios is the most likely "bad contract" deal out there for the Sox.

Frasor is just so hittable. I remember him having more movement on his fastball in the past.

If Peavy would have limited it to 4 runs in the first inning....

No problem with it...maybe Crain is tired. Also, Ozzie views Frasor as more of a long man right now, and prefers Crain in close spots.

 

It is the 7th inning and Thorton and Crain haven'e pitched in this series other than one batter

Just recently I heard a caller on the Score call multiple times to say that Rios was letting the boos get to him. Don't want to say more because I was only half-listening, and obviously the caller could have been full of it.

Our Major League talent evaluators truly couldn't be worse at their job the last few years.

Frasor has been bad, infante could probably do the same job or better. I hope Kenny us gone next year, don't want him messing with the team anymore, the '05 magic Is Gawn

or you can tell with your own eyes that right now, Morel shouldn't be in the majors if he's going to hit like a pansy. Balta has thrown out every possible statistic he can this year to try and make it seem like Morel has been a complete failure...but outside of drawing a few more walks, it's gotten worse due to his defense struggling of late.

Gordon Beckham can't hit a good fastball. He doesn't belong in the big leagues.

 

Zach Stewart doesn't look impressive and he has not repeatability on his delivery. He doesn't belong in the big leagues.

 

Daniel Hudson is doing nothing but nibbling on the corners. He doesn't belong in the big leagues.

 

Gavin Floyd's only good starts were against Detroit and they hit the ball very close to the wall a lot. He doesn't belong in the big leagues.

 

John Danks wore out down the stretch and his stuff was never that impressive anyway. He doesn't belong in the big leagues.

Are you serious? Why would you put your worst hitter in the #4 hole? You either don't play him or bury him in the back of the lineup.

 

 

Becasue if we have him in the #9 spot and #8 gets on then our worse hitter screws that up too. I agree that maybe he shouldn't play. Dunn and Rios should sit if they can't contribute

And with better coaching/adjustments, Beckham/Stewart/Hudson's issues were/are easily fixable. However, too many stubborn people in Sox organization. I don't remember many people saying Danks stuff wasn't that good either.
