November 2, 201114 yr I like almost all of those movies and love Pulp Fiction, don't get me wrong, but my favorite is Die Hard With A Vengeance.
November 2, 201114 yr The Incredibles with Coming To America a close second. By the way, that Dave Chappelle Samuel Jackson Beer sketch keeps running through my head. "JUICE! THAT WAS A GOOD ONE! DEEP BLUE SEA! A SHARK ATE ME! A f***IN SHARK ATE ME!"
November 2, 201114 yr Jurassic Park is in a tie with Dumb and Dumber as my favorite movie of all time so I had to go with it.
November 2, 201114 yr Black Snake Moan, just to watch Christina Ricci in panties, mmmmmmmm. Edited November 2, 201114 yr by MexSoxFan#1
November 2, 201114 yr Ugh, that makes her look gross. Edited November 2, 201114 yr by Milkman delivers
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 12:07 AM) Ugh, that makes her looking gross. Probably because she always looks gross.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 12:07 AM) Ugh, that makes her looking gross. This...
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 12:37 AM) I beg to differ, kind sirs... Well, I can't see her ribs there.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 12:42 AM) Well, I can't see her ribs there. I can see that movie screen she claims is a forehead though.
November 2, 201114 yr WTF, you guys ruined a perfectly good discussion on Samuel L. Jackson with talk about Christina Ricci. Shame. Pulp Fiction is the easy number one for me, but after that it gets tough. He's a secondary character in a lot of movies I really loved. For movies he had a big part in it's between Jackie Brown and Unbreakable. I'll always stop to watch Iron Man and Kill Bill if they're on cable somewhere, but he's barely in them.
November 2, 201114 yr Author I can see the objection to him being the highest grossing actor of all time. He has had bit parts in some of the biggest box office movies. It's like after all the roles are filled let's find something for Sam our "good luck" charm.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 07:46 AM) I'm guessing Mace Windu didn't really do it for anyone? It's a big part of why he's the "Highest grossing actor of all time", if that counts.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 12:07 AM) Ugh, that makes her looking gross. Seriously. The only way I want to see ribs is slathered in BBQ sauce.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 09:11 AM) Seriously. The only way I want to see ribs is slathered in BBQ sauce. I don't want to know what other kinds of sick Christina Ricci condiment fantasies you have.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 08:26 AM) I don't want to know what other kinds of sick Christina Ricci condiment fantasies you have. In her case, they all involve her fully clothed and somewhere else.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 09:58 AM) In her case, they all involve her fully clothed and somewhere else. With barbeque sauce.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 08:58 AM) With barbeque sauce. Damn straight. She needs to eat!
November 2, 201114 yr I have to agree with what someone else said -- this is all based on a technicality. He was, at best, in sub-role bit parts for 20 seconds in most of these movies, and/or NOT the star/main attraction of almost all of them. I don't think this counts as him being a box office sensation. He was in a bunch of movies that made a bunch of money, but they didn't make money because of him, but mostly in spite of him. Aside from a scant few movies, he's better at ruining movies than making them good.
November 2, 201114 yr Jurassic Park if we're going to call it a Sam Jackson movie, but it's so close with DHWAV and PF.
November 2, 201114 yr QUOTE (Tex @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 04:55 AM) I can see the objection to him being the highest grossing actor of all time. He has had bit parts in some of the biggest box office movies. It's like after all the roles are filled let's find something for Sam our "good luck" charm. For a while in the late 90s, I think Jeff Goldblum may have been near the top of the list just by appearing in Independence Day and the Jurassic Park movies.
