I think you could see a 9-6 type game tonight.

Which means it'll be like 42-35.

I'm not sure. I feel like the Bears usually do well against running QBs, because of their speed on defense. (Although #54 is a tad bit slower these days) When Vick was actually good, the Bears usually contained him pretty well.

I'm not so concerned about his running ability...it's more his willingness to try and make plays, whereas Smith is Mr Checkdown.

Akers vs. Gould would be a nice match up.

I need this matchup to dominate. Rooting for a 15-12 game.

When people have tried to make plays against the Bears this season, the Bears defense has scored touchdowns

Bears were 7-point dogs. Saw the number online at +5 1/2 after Smith announcement. Now at +3 1/2-4.

I actually think this could be a really good game. Keeping everything in context, I think these are two of the absolute best backup QBs in the league and they could both easily be starting somewhere.

Ed Reed just got hit with a 1 game suspension for playing hard.

I actually thought he was above suspension.

Current espn.com front story:

In a matchup of backup quarterbacks, the Bears won't lose much with Jason Campbell taking snaps.

Uh, no.

Uh, no.

Unfortunately they are kind of right.

When you have the 30th ranked passing offense, there really isn't much worse you can do.

Kaepernick is actually fun to watch. For that, I'll look forward on watching this game.

Yes there is. Not saying Campbell is bad or a bad option for a backup, but it doesnt matter where their passing offense is ranked, having a guy step in that hasnt been playing much and isnt as talented as the starter you can do worse.

Conte seems to get the most absurd calls ever.

Maybe he shouldn't have tackled Manningham when he was on the ground, but Manningham was in bounds and he was not down by contact. I don't see that as roughness...

That call was brutal.

Bears defense needs to play way tighter cause Im not sure Kapernick can complete a pass over 30 yards.

The look on a couple of the fans they showed shows how brutal the call was. They looked like they had no idea what the flag was about.

We're filling the box and making the passing game really easy. That said, that bogus penalty set up their entire drive.

Shoulda ran it on third and short.

Podlesh has been awful with his kicks.

The passing game is easy because Kapernick isnt going take risks against a cover 2. Need to change it up because Im not sure Kapernick can do progressions properly.

No reason to pass there, especially that stupid play with nobody short. How many times does it have to backfire before Tice quits calling deep drops?

Paea just said f*** you and your 7 man o-line.

Kenny's kid just kicked our ass.

Well, their backup QB is better than ours.

Bears d got torn apart on that one.

should probably stay away from shotgun on 3rd and 2 next drive
