I don't think you can stop using him as closer yet though. 4/6 save opps usually doesn't get you fired. He's certainly got the heat on him now, though.

It's funny though how we're already throwing Santiago under the bus and Morel and Beckham get years to prove themselves.

 

 

We criticized Santiago for getting beat on the fastball and 3 of the hits this inning are "waiting in the weeds" offspeed pitches for hits.

My point was that I'd rather have Jones close than Santiago. Not that Jones should be the closer.
