Gordon just has a bad swing and he has shown me nothing to indicate that he has the ability to overcome it via pitch selection, coordination, etc

Overall, this wasn't a game the Sox had any business winning. Our AAA pitchers did a great job of keeping us in the game, but the Tigers could have easily scored 6-8 runs today. The offense is in a huge funk right now, with every lineup Ventura can put on the field having a handful of easy outs.
