Nice at-bat for Alejandro there. Some good two-strike hitting off the leftie.

Didn't realize we were tied with the Blue Jays for the most blown saves in the AL, with 7.

Thought it was closer to 4 or 5.

I remember the two Santiago ones, two to Thornton, one to Reed when he came on with the tying runner already on 2nd with 2 outs...seems like there was at least another one to Thornton that maybe we came back to win the game? (Yeah, missed the Friday Cubs' game, that was he blew where he got the win on the Beckham save).

Ohman didn't have a blown save in the Peavy/Tigers game last week in the 6th, did he?

Cant believe Im saying this but itll be nice when Orlando Hudson gets here. Hopefully he can actually hit and play 3B.

Hopefully he's a younger version of Oldmar.

Omar was OK at third but couldn't hit.

From the angle of the ball bouncing up from the street, it looked like it short-hoppped the building across the street.

According to my Google Earth measurements, Flowers hit that ball about 440.

Blue Jays have closer problems? What about that terrible trade of our young closer to the Jays???

Yep....he doesnt need to light it up. Just provide some sort of hitting at the back end of this lineup.

If we win today, do they present the BP Cup after the game? Or do we have to wait for the series in the Cell?

He was on the dl

If this game continues on like this and we win, what a dominant sweep this would be in Wrigley.

Only halfway through; obviously a lot can happen.

This still could be a 9-6 game or something like that.

I wonder what Peavy said to Dunn there. He seemed happy at the big guy stabbing that blast.

You know how often someone follows up a great play in the field with a quality at-bat, right?

Great inning.

lol love the Cubs fans talking about the "wind assisted" home runs. That Adam Dunn homer did not need any help.

Corpseballlllll

Talk about Corpseball...this Cub offense outside of Castro and LaHair (who knows if he can keep it up anyways) is just brutal.

Geezus. It's their ballpark.

They are not used to the wind blowing out by now?? The Cubs have really annoyed me this series.

Haha Hawk had an orgasm during Flowers' home run call.

Man, that defensive positioning again...

Lol where was the second baseman playing on that haha

Nice play. Dunn got robbed.
