May 26, 201213 yr s***, I posted one too. My bad. So I'll restate it... THE FEATHERED SERPENT! HOME RUNS
May 26, 201213 yr Beat them and 2 of their only few actual good players go down with injuries. Offense kicking it into gear the last week or so, if the pitching can stay steady they'll be in good shape.
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (Cali @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:18 PM) Beat them and 2 of their only few actual good players go down with injuries. Offense kicking it into gear the last week or so, if the pitching can stay steady they'll be in good shape. I know Cabrera got hurt, who else got hurt today?
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (chw42 @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:20 PM) I know Cabrera got hurt, who else got hurt today? Ass Dribble got hurt?
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (chw42 @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) I know Cabrera got hurt, who else got hurt today? Santana took one off the mask and left the game... Could be a concussion, or just took him out as a precaution since they were out of the game anyway Edited May 26, 201213 yr by Cali
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (chw42 @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:20 PM) I know Cabrera got hurt, who else got hurt today? Santana took a foul square off his mask and left the game looking a bit dazed.
May 26, 201213 yr Qunitana pitched better than Danks has most of this season. And at >1% of the cost! (don't check my math.)
May 26, 201213 yr 6-4 in the season series. I'll take it. Let's take these next two, and take some pressure off going to Tampa.
May 26, 201213 yr how did Cabrera get hurt and was it serious enough to make him miss the upcoming games ?
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:30 PM) Robin says Quintana reminds him of Wilson Alvarez That's what I said the first time I watched him pitch. Similar motion.
May 26, 201213 yr Author QUOTE (kapzk @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) how did Cabrera get hurt and was it serious enough to make him miss the upcoming games ? Left hamstring tightness. Day to day.
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (flavum @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:34 PM) That's what I said the first time I watched him pitch. Similar motion. I thought he looked like Cliff Lee a little bit
May 26, 201213 yr Author Paulie 11 game hitting streak. 7 wins out of last 8 games. 23 HR's in last 11 games.
May 26, 201213 yr Chicago crowds starting to grow a little bit. This team can be fun to watch once they start clicking on a regular basis. Viciedo and Dunn hit a couple of straight bombs to dead center, I love the consistent deep power threat throughout the lineup.
May 26, 201213 yr It cannot be overstated what having Hudson as the 9 hitter has done for the top of our order just in a couple of games. DeAza is much more dangerous now that there's a chance for him to hit with runners on base a couple of times each game. Beckham and Dunn will now also get more opportunities with RISP. No automatic outs in the lineup anymore. Just waiting for Alexi to get it going... Edited May 26, 201213 yr by DashFan
May 26, 201213 yr For once, it's nice to have the opponents say "Who the hell is this AAA guy?" as he dominates them.
May 26, 201213 yr I like what Paul Konerko does with a baseball bat. His OPS the last 7 days is OVER 2.000.
May 26, 201213 yr My first live game of the year. Fun stuff. Way to battle Quintana and good to see Santiago rolling along. And that offense is kinda good too.
May 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:30 PM) Robin says Quintana reminds him of Wilson Alvarez I'll take that. QUOTE (Cali @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:36 PM) I thought he looked like Cliff Lee a little bit Or that.
