May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (greg775 @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) I guess you are not allowed to come in and b****slap the mighty Rays in their s***ty stadium with their 1,000 fans. *fixed*
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (greg775 @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) I guess you are not allowed to come in and b****slap the mighty Rays in their s***ty stadium with their 10,000 fans. Unbelievable they knocked out DeAza there. f***ing unreal. There should be a brawl today which will mean a couple sox suspensions. Remember the Alamerko!!
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) Who knows. He walked off the field without help, but was limping. I thought it was just a stinger to the side of the knee like you get in basketball (where you cannot move for 2 minutes but then the pain is gone) but it seemed to last longer. I hope the ball didn't hit the knee cap. Who knows...cross your fingers. Hopefully he will be ready to go Friday.
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (Baron @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:56 PM) Yeah I could go for a 98 MPH fastball close to Upton. Thatll spark a fight. I'm not really interested in losing Jones for a week.
May 30, 201213 yr Buster Olney's last tweet insinuates he thinks the pickoff beaning may have been intentional too
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (greg775 @ May 30, 2012 -> 11:55 AM) There should be a brawl today which will mean a couple sox suspensions. That would be THE DUMBEST thing to happen to the team right now. Losing players for multiple games when you're on a hot streak. Talk about a momentum killer...
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) I'm not really interested in losing Jones for a week. Then throw Ohman out there

Which with how hot this team is no thank you, unless the bench guys do the bashin lol
May 30, 201213 yr A lot of people thought the brawl with the Tigers, was a big catalist for the 2000 White Sox. Robin is quiet, but he takes crap from no one.

Looked like directly on the side or outside part of the right knee....bone there, but probably just a deep bone bruise/contusion.
May 30, 201213 yr it seemed awfully close to the HBP that Konerko got on his knee in the BOS series last season
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) I can see a brawl in this game before it's over. Bad blood is thick in the air. This is a distinct possibility if a single thing goes awry
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (kane0730 @ May 30, 2012 -> 12:56 PM) Lillibridge has terrible instincts. He may be overanxious from benchrot, though I won't come close to blaming Robin for for riding the multiple hot bats and keeping the same lineup..
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) A lot of people thought the brawl with the Tigers, was a big catalist for the 2000 White Sox. Robin is quiet, but he takes crap from no one. The exact opposite of Ozzie.
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 30, 2012 -> 02:57 PM) Buster Olney's last tweet insinuates he thinks the pickoff beaning may have been intentional too Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN @2_seamfastball Pitchers have told me they've done it on purpose. And it's a stealthy move, too, in a situation when both teams warned. View conversation 3m Buster Olney Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN @Brian_Fletcher To repeat: I don't know. It was just a weird-looking play. Expand 4m Buster Olney Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN @amszafoni Pitchers have told me they've done it -- just telling the fielder to back up the play. But how in the world would an ump know? View conversation 5m Buster Olney Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN I'd love to apply truth serum to all pitchers in the White Sox-TB game to determine who threw at who on purpose. Interesting pickoff play.
May 30, 201213 yr Sox just need to win the game. Sweep. When they come to Chicago, have Southpaw attack one of their players.
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) Buster Olney's last tweet insinuates he thinks the pickoff beaning may have been intentional too Hell yes it was.
May 30, 201213 yr OK wait a second... I see talk here of a "pickoff beaning", and also a knee injury for ADA. Which is it? Or both? WTF???
May 30, 201213 yr If there WAS a warning, Ventura WOULD have been kicked out automatically. That happened 2 minutes later. Charlie Reliford says you don't need a warning...if you deem it intentional, you can throw the pitcher out without one. But had there been a warning, Ventura would have been gone right away.
May 30, 201213 yr QUOTE (kapzk @ May 30, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) good thing tmr is an off day, bullpen and De Aza will be rested With all the stupid nicknames floating around out there (tar, Da Da, tlb, or whatever else there is) I was trying to figure out what tmr stood for . . .
