Certainly. Unfortunately we can't be sure whether he did do it on purpose...but Olney seems to think it is a real possibility

btw, Crain has a nice changeup

How far from the base was he where he got drilled?

1 game lead over the Indians, Royals 6-3.

Broxton loaded the bases with one out but Jose Lopez hit into a DP.

Game ending DP in CLE, Sox guaranteed to remain in first!

Jose Lopez to the rescue!

Arm fully extended so his knee was probably ~4 feet off the bag?

Carlos Quentin with another long ball today. He can hit when he's healthy.

It hit him more or less as his hand reached the bag. Would have been safe, but close play if throw was online.

No Ohman

He looks quite heavy right now. With that said, he's swinging great at the plate.

Yeah, the throw to second from the pitcher's mound is what, 40 feet?

Let's hit Matsui. He deserves it

Ill take it

boy that was close

Hit him with Will Ohman. Bring in Hector Santiago.

Not going to Will Ohman here.

Pena, if he hits, would probably face Ohman.

So it's Reed's game to close, 1-2-3 top of the order in the bottom of the 9th.

Win the game.

Excellent job by Crain!

God, I hate Matsui...

The ball started right about at the edge of the fielder's range to catch and then ran a ton. I certainly have made my share of bad throws made worse by the tail on my ball so I can see a solid alibi here. We just won't really know unless someone admits it.

How about a long overdue Lillibomb?

Nobody will admit it, unless they're Cole Hamels or Ozzie Guillen.

Reed's gonna face Pena/Upton/Joyce.

Would love to get some insurance here

The Cole Hamels thing was hilarious, IMO
