Veal needs to be on this pitching staff next year

I don't see a reason he won't be...unless he will be a FA and someone just comes in and pays a ton for him or something.

Veal is an awesome weapon to have!

 

If he can be as effective against Robinson Cano and Josh Hamilton as he has been against Fielder, that's a big edge for the Sox.

If not for Young's presence, you'd be tempted to leave him in there against Boesch, but they'll go Myers or Crain in the 8th against Young.

 

Crain has the better stuff, so I'd probably go with Jesse against Young/Peralta, then Thornton...for Boesch.

 

Although Ventura very well might choose Myers over Crain. Don't have their career averages against those guys.
