AJ Pierzynski Appreciation thread

It was a good run AJ, the Sox couldnt have won the world series without you. I appreciate everything you did in a Sox uniform.

Hands down the smartest player I've seen in a Sox uni. Thanks AJ, especially for 2005.

AJ was one of the biggest reasons the Sox won the World Series. He deserves to play on a legit contender again. Maybe he can win another ring in Texas.

I wish AJ nothing but the best.

Thanks AJ for 2005 and the many years after. Always will be one of my favorite players in the league.

That Dodgers game was awesome. Thanks for the service AJ, greatly appreciated.

Oh, and yaaaay we got to yell obscenities at AJ now!

Great run for AJ, but it was time.

Thanks for all the years AJ, 2nd best catcher in Sox history.

Someone please post the "Move b****!" animated .gif from YTMND with AJ. Site is blocked here at work.

Thanks for a wild ride AJ! :cheers :gosox3:

man... this sucks.

I always loved AJ through thick and thin... :(

He'll go down as one of my favorite Sox of all time. Hope to see him back in some capacity after his playing days are over. I think he'd have a lot to offer on a coaching staff, and he's already dabbled a bit in broadcasting. Best of luck either way.

Well both my favorite players in the past ten years are gone. Thanks AJ.

Sorry, pet peeve.

Thanks for wasting a post on that.

I adore AJ. What a great signing back in 2005 by Kenny. He was my favorite player for quite awhile.

Good luck bud, thanks for the memories!

I was at the bar in a beer garden in college with two buddies. That was an epic game.

It was always nice to have a "-ski" on the team. Thanks for 2005 and all the other good games AJ. Special thanks for pissing off Cubs fans so much. Good luck in Texas.

Will always love the guy and wish him the best in his future endeavors.

A team with no identity or personality just became even more bland. The competitive attitude of AJ wont be replaced and I am glad he was on my side all these years. Blaaaah on this Hahn. All you looking for drop off will be disappointed

meh, Pierzynski lost all his personality after Burls left anyway... remember how fun this team used to be? AJP, Burls, Crede, Rowand bein' all rowdy... those were the days.

Anyone got the video of that HR? Stupid ass MLB and their asinine video strategy.
