February 1, 201313 yr QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Feb 1, 2013 -> 07:01 AM) Sad to see 30 Rock go. One of the more underappreciated comedies in recent memory. It had fantastic and intelligent writing, a great cast and won several awards but never seemed to really take off in terms of popularity. Didn't think it was the best finale possible, but I'll remember it as being one of the favorite sitcoms of the recent past Underappreciated? Didn't it continually get nominated for golden globes and SAG awards and get pretty good viewership? Edited February 1, 201313 yr by BigSqwert

You could say NBC underappreciated it. A show that won Emmys and been network staple shouldn't have the series final on Jan 31st. Not even on during Feb sweeps. NBC hates their best comedies. Community, Paks N Re.c and it feels like they are trying to kill em.

February 2, 201313 yr So I took your advice steve and started watching Downton. Through 2 episodes it looks like a show I'll really enjoy.

I've never met anyone, male or female, who gave it a shot and didn't wind up thinking it was great. I'm glad you are enjoying it!

Like I said, it received awards, but never seemed to take off in the public eye, especially compared with other comedies
February 5, 201313 yr Hm. Am I the only one who found The Americans to be rather cheesy and even s***ty?
February 5, 201313 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 10:09 PM) Hm. Am I the only one who found The Americans to be rather cheesy and even s***ty? I think it was far from s***ty, but I can see cheesy at some points. They don't need to hammer the 80's stuff down our throats. We get it.
February 5, 201313 yr Another solid episode of The Following last night. So far they've done a good job keeping the suspense up.
February 5, 201313 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 09:12 PM) Robin Sparkles! It was a funny episode again. Is having an end game helping?
February 5, 201313 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 5, 2013 -> 06:57 AM) It was a funny episode again. Is having an end game helping? I thought the episode was kind of cheap. Paul Shaffer? Weak punchline, IMO. The stalker stuff was good, "This is kind of embarrassing..." and Abby Elliott is super hot.

February 5, 201313 yr Really enjoyed The Americans. Pretty violent/edgy for a basic cable network show.

February 6, 201313 yr I liked that episode. Jagged Little Pill haha And of course the Full House references. Its been so long I kind of forgot Danny Tanner was the narrator.
