I still can't believe Cincy used all of their timeouts with 8 minutes left in the game. That's worse than Lovie.

And they'd be likely getting the ball back here if they hadn't.

At least we have the new coaching staff excuse.

They'll get the ball with 20 seconds left if the Bears don't fumble.

And the Bengals lose it on a personal foul penalty combined with the blown timeouts.

Big win for the Bears, that's a really good team they just beat.

what a game

GG

That was a very Bengal-ish Foul

LOL Maualuga, thanks for that. Automatic first down. Bears win!

Victory formation b****es!!!!!!

no gatorade shower for Trestman

We won this game with coaching.

What a dumb IQ football team.

How many will be eliminated from Survival Pool if Buffalo holds on?

That's up to a field goal.

I guess the Bills can be impressed that they weren't blown out

LOL TAMPA BAY

That kick return had me terrified though. hahaha wow

Such a bs call on that late hit to setup the jets but that was funny.

Few thoughts...

1. Offensive line played well in pass pro. But more importantly, Cutler got rid of the ball quickly - that might be the most improved aspect of his game.

2. The Bengals are a very undisciplined team. That was just bad.

3. Like the 2nd half adjustments that were made by the coaching staff. But most importantly, the defense yet again comes up with a huge play when we needed it most.

Lot of room for improvement, but to get a win against one of the best teams in the AFC is a great way to start the year.

Looking forward to the Hub Arkush "everybody don't get excited" column

Every year I think there is no way Joe Bucks forehead could get any bigger, and every year I am proven wrong

Honestly, I thought the only thing that was bad for the Bengals was their coaching. Using all timeouts before the 8 minute mark. The whole having 10 or 12 men on the field is a reflection of the coaching staff not preparing their team. One time, the player argued with the coach even saying the signal he held up means they're supposed to go into the game. And the coach didn't argue back.

Honestly, I feel like, for the first time in my lifetime, the Bengals have the talent, but are going to be held back by Marvin Lewis.

I agree...I HATE. That call...if you're going to call that you have to allow the qb to get destroyed when he cuts it back inside

what's with this ultra-conservative offense?

Need to protect our oline, specifically the rookies against such a good defensive front. Loved what Trestman did today.
