dunn, shocker

This Royals bullpen is pretty fantastic.

I wonder what would happen if the plan was to not cut down on strikeouts this year.

Herrera looked GOOD

R.I.P. Roger Ebert

What I learned from reading Ebert, a lesson I wish I remembered more readily day to day: it's possible to be critical without being cynical.

Soria still the closer? I can't remember how last year went after the injury.

Okay thanks for the answer Stoney :D

Viciedo 2b, Ramirez single, Flowers walkoff blast. I'll have one of those, please.

Time to kick the tires and light the fires.

My god Viciedo's plate discipline is horrid.

Too many k's

Viciedo with a very Dunn-esque day. Well done!

have a day Diane

Royals are in that category that if you don't have a lead after 7 innings, it probably isn't your day.

That has to be a situation where you have Wise hit for him.

So far in this 9th, every ball swung at has been out of the zone.....

Closers benefit from pressure filled free swinging. The guile/gumption closers have is sooooo overblown when you consider some natural advantages they get coming their way instead.

Knowing your role day in day out, is another.

Holland hasn't been throwing strikes. Flowers the only one willing to wait.

Should have happened two strike outs ago. His history in that match-up was not good at noon today and it only got worse as the day went on.

Why is pinch hitting so taboo for the Chicago White Sox?

One of the reasons that Viciedo and Alexei back-to-back is a tough call for Ventura

It's Bacon time!

Shouldn't Gillaspie be hitting here, not running

Flowers reached based 4 times vs RHP...way to go Tyler!

Why not let Wise run? Gillaspie actually has some power.
