The only way that would ever happen is if the Blue Jays agree to pay just about every penny of his contract...and the Sox needed Buehrle...and the Sox were in the hunt...

Just cause Mark is a good dude, and fine teammate shouldn't mean we EVER want him back. He's a back of the rotation innings eater at this point in his career. Certainly not worth the contract.

We think our offense is bad or inconsistent....but the Rays have it worse than the Sox.

 

There's zero reason to pitch to Longoria. He actually had his first homer and first XB hit today.

That's all relative. They didn't have a lead in a game for like their first 6 or 7 games 2 years ago before Dan Johnson took Matt Thornton deep in the top of the 9th. They still made the playoffs that year.
