I was thinking of making a separate "comedians" category, but, nah...

Ferrell/Stiller/Carrey/Carell/Sandler/Zach G./Owen Wilson, etc.

Just thought it was sort of an interesting topic, since word came out that The Rock was Bay's first choice for Transformers 4.

Seems that he's brought into every series to revive it: Fast and the Furious, GI Joe, the "Journey" series, etc.

Plus, he's playing side-by-side with Wahlberg in Pain & Gain now.

I realize there were some pretty good actors who I didn't list in the Top 10. Two that came to mind right off the bat were Hugh Jackman and George Clooney. Denzel Washington would be another.

Of those listed, I went with Brad Pitt.

But had there been an "OTHER" category, I would have gone with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Edward Norton, or Leo DiCaprio.

Edited the poll. I assume you meant only one choice.

I can't pick anyone with multiple oscars?

Love JGL, like DiCaprio more and more....so-so about Norton.

By the way, does anyone know when Don Juan's Addiction is going to be released?

Denzel Washington. He's also on my list of the three guys I would accept a date from if he asked.

It's been changed to Don Jon, and I would think soon. JGL was just on The Nerdist on Saturday promoting it. IMDB says October though.

Forgot Matt Damon, too.

And Ben Affleck, although he's getting a lot more attention for his directorial chops at the moment.

None of the above.

Joseph Gordon Levitt

Who the hell picked Dwayne Johnson? Seriously?

I would pick Steve Harnden.

If he wasnt available, then I would pick Southside_Hitman

Give me Fightclub's Brad Pitt or give me Edward Norton.

He's arguably the most popular actor today....that's why.

He delivers box office results. He's likable...and has a high Q rating.

Two or three years ago, you would have still said Will Smith was the most popular actor in the world with various audiences.

You can make different arguments, but it's quite difficult to argue with the results....unless you want to bring up SNITCH or FASTER. He's definitely the busiest actor right in Hollywood, that's hard to argue

Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon (announced)

Hank (rumored)

2014 Hercules: The Thracian Wars (pre-production)

Hercules

2014 Fast & Furious 7 (pre-production)

Luke Hobbs

2014 Arabian Nights (pre-production)

Sinbad (rumored)

???? Lore (pre-production)

???? Ciudad (pre-production)

Personally, I love Jason Statham movies, haha. Someone, I think it was Steve, said he had a Mark Wahlberg "bromance," for me, Statham popcorn action flicks with so-so plots.

me

and i'm officially pissed at the rest of you.

All the same person.

I guess from your list I would choose Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp. If the list was expanded I would choose Crowe, Norton or DiCaprio. Or from the younger generation, JGL or Ben Foster. Ben Foster has got some serious acting chops.

Depends on the role.

If I want someone to play an emotionless statue, it's Ryan Gosling.

If I want range, It's Depp or Pitt.

If I want to make money, it's Tatum.

What???

Caufield makes the direct correlation between box office $$$ and popularity. Therefore Shia Lebouf is one of the most popular actors in history

I did. I think The Rock is a cool dude.

It all depends on what kind of movie you are making.

The Rock should never be in movies.

Daniel Day Lewis

For nothing else, but his hosting of SNL, Justin Timberlake. I love a good laugh.

yyeahhhh, the Rock is not the most popular actor today.
