Sigh. At least we're getting his pitch count up a LITTLE bit.

Screw that, this pitcher sucks, much better chance of scoring runs off of him than their relievers.

RICK HAHN PLEASE MAKE IT STOP

No way, they have to give Flowers the whole year to prove he belongs. They had to know this was a possibility coming into the season. It's far too early to give up on their plan coming into the year with him.

Flowers has left 6 on already numbers gets worse and worse. Rangers announcers said Ranger pitchers are exploiting Sox hitters and between Dunn, Flowers and De Aza they average 1 strike out every 3 ab's no wonder Sox are last in RISP.

Flowers has no prayer on anything slow and low right now. He has never shown any ability in the majors to hit that pitch.

I don't want this to be true, but I suspect you're right. More likely it's at least until the AS break.

The thing I'll never understand is how they thought Flowers would be a good candidate to get the majority of the playing time in the AL Central. Have fun having him face Verlander/Scherzer/Sanchez, etc.

Glad the Sox are paying him for a career year.

Teahen 2.0 as of now. If he continues to struggle over the next month, he's going to turn into an expensive utility player. The good news is Gillaspie is earning Keppinger's playing time.

Yikes...

Ryan Raburn over his last 13 at-bats: .923 batting average, 4 HR, 9 RBIs, 1.846 slugging percentage, 2.769 OPS

Quite the resurgence for him after last year's debacle of a season.
