Never ever easy.

If that was intentional, it was just about the dumbest thing imaginable.

Was that purposely? - serious question

Take some balls from Reed to peg a Sox legend.

QUOTE (fathom @ May 1, 2013 -> 09:57 PM)
Funny thing is I really don't think that was intentional.

It was a fastball near his head

Looks like Reed no a fan of AJ.

It wasn't that far inside, as AJ basically caught it with his elbow.

It was probably unintentional, but that would be typical nonsensical Sox baseball if Reed did try to hit him. All the guys our pitchers HAVEN'T hit in the past and plunking a great Sox legend like AJ. That would be dumb.

I applaud him for it.

No doubt in my mind is was thre for a reason.

Good for Addison, I respect him for that.

Strike 3 WTH

Then why not do it on first pitch to him? Given AJ's aggressiveness, if you throw a first pitch fastball down the plate like they did, there's a good chance you miss on your chance to hit him.

You know Jake is going too

Alright, now we can laugh about the HBP.

Maybe the great Sox legend wasn't very liked in the clubhouse?

Sox win :)

Why?

Good job, Sale and Reed. We win.

No maybe about it...

I'm sure I'm looking into things too much, but Rios had quite the smirk after the game was over.
