NBA Thread 2013-2014

Featured Replies

I commented to my friend about how I thought Tony Snell missing the 3 straight 3pointers fed to him in the same possession was more embarrassing than an open dunk. He disagreed and gave this list :

level 1: getting eyed (pull up in your face, usually following trash talk)

level 2: getting crossed over

level 2.5 (my addition): Taj Gibson clapping at Bosh to come at him only to easily get taken

level 3: getting dunked on

level 4: missing dunk

level 5: ankle breaker crossover

level 6: scoring in your own basket

Anything we're missing?

Calling time out with none left?

passing the ball to the ref instead of your player

Cavs/Nets on NBAtv. Tasty.

Heat already benching Wade for tonight. This is really where Beasley could help and earn his spot.

Just saw that Bynum was cleared to play. Be interesting to see how he looks.

I'm tired of the Bynum hype. Too much trouble and believe he's the softest 7 footer around. He won't last.

Michael Carter Williams with a good start.

Now watch Philly lose the game.

My feeling from eyeballing that is that you'll need some help with big man stats like boards, FG%, blocks, turnovers.

Interesting, between Favors(who someone here said was gonna pull down 14 boards a game), McGee, Faried, Monroe, and Lebron I thought I'd be in really good shape rebounds wise.

I fully expect it

This Michael Carter Williams character is ballin'.

lmao@ray Allen. Dude just pulled a t-mac (close to it anyway).

For those not watching. Ray hit 4 3's in rapid succession (couldn't have been anymore than a minute) including a 50-footer to end the third.

Miami's winning now.

Barely. They're only up 3. Philly is hanging tough. Miami's hit 16 3's and they won't go away.

Maybe just because it's their first game, but Sixers can run.

9 steals. Yikes.

Philly back on top with ~20 seconds left.

f***ing Larry Sanders, how do you get 5 fouls before the halfway mark of the third quarter

Dwight has 17 boards at the half. He might get 30 this game.

That man is angry. I could see it in his eyes when Skip Bayless was talkin' s*** to him. He will dominate everything (except free throws).

22 points (4 3's), 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 9 steals. Decent.

Howard and Asik have 37 of Houston's 50 boards

So Heat lost, Nets lost.

Gonna be a fun season fellas.

That has to be one of the best debuts ever right? (Michael Carter-Williams)
