Not sure what to make of it, but Beckham's average in the 8th spot is .050 higher than any other spots in the order.

And at least in the AL with the DH a good #9 hitter is almost like a lead off guy

The Phillies are petitioning MLB to show the second game tomorrow night because it coincides with Fox's exclusive window.

 

CSN Chicago already said they'll carry both games. Why would it impact the Phillies, but not the Sox?
