I apologize if this has been posted in the last month. But since this video is just a month old I figured maybe some of you haven't seen it yet. For me, I've spent years trying to find this video and now here it is! It starts with a Royals/Indians brawl though.

Thanks for sharing -- I've been searching for video of that brawl for a long time. That really propelled the Sox, if you remember. They came together and won the division after that. Forgot how much I hated Higginson...

He was a badass. I remember once when he hit Tori Hunter and Hunter glared at him on the way to 1st and Farmio said something like "Yeah Tori, just flap your mouth cuz you don't want none of that."

I originally watched the game with a good friend who's a Tigers fan. I was so fired up, I made him leave.

I don't remember them throwing stuff at Weaver but when Fisk got escorted out through the RF bullpen he was pelted with beer and that is in the video.

 

OP, thank you so much I have been looking for this video for a long time and I believed it was off the internet.

 

2000 was the year I fell in love with this team and I remember that brawl more than anything. I was only 6 years old but that was the year I started following the Sox religiously. Magglio and Keith Foulke were my favorite players and I remember being wildly upset watching the games when Magglio had his suspension. I hated the Tigers because my dad said they punched Foulke when he wasn't looking. That team was full of scumbags Jeff Weaver, Robert Fick, Matt Anderson (BUST), Higginson, etc.

I think I know what you're talking about, and I didn't see it in this clip either. I remember on SportsCenter they showed fans dumping water on a Tigers player in the bullpen area I thought. At the time I thought it was the coolest thing ever haha.

You guys must have skipped ahead, it was all in there. Start at about 6:15 and they show him walking, and he reaches the bullpen about 30 seconds later.

Hey Tigers players, I know it's hot out here and tempers are flaring, here's some water to help cool down! We also have popsicles if you want some.

I am at work so I can't watch the video, but there are 4 things that stand out in my mind from my memory of that fight:

 

1. We learned Magglio was a kicker. Strangely enough that's something that tells you a lot about a person. Especially considering this was before MMA became popular.

2. Foulke after that fight looking like he got stomped in the face.

3. Fick receiving the beer shower. If I remember correctly he was flipping the fans the bird as it was happening.

4. Frank Robinson using this fight to show that he was the new sheriff in town and handing out crazy suspensions.

I remember this exact moment. Farmio said something like "go on out there Torii, you'll have one less I in your name and in your head when Bob's done with you". Couldn't believe he said it.

It's crazy that I was actually getting mad watching that video.

Thanks for posting this, OP. What a great trip down memory lane. Can't believe that happened 13 years ago. That 2000 team was so much fun (until the playoffs).
