Petricka to make his debut.

NVM it's Purcey.

Royals announcers are saying "Pa-tritch-ka", almost like Patricia.

I've always imagined his name was pronounced "Pa-tree-ka".

How are Hawk and Stoney saying it?

That's disappointed. I've been saying it wrong in my head for like 4 years.

Of the 16 K for the Sox hitters, 15 of them were swinging. Time for Petricka to get a vulture nickname

Sox playing well with the pressure off them.

Personally, I think it's nuts to pitch Reed again tonight. No reason to risk injury.

How many times has Alexei done that? Such poor fundamentals.

I hope the front office steps in and they pull back on the usage of certain pitchers the rest of the way.

:sweep:

Congrats to Petricka

I was thinking, which is painful at this point - Do you think that over pitching a guy in a period of time can cause a long term injury? I kind of think it it would just be a short term muscle type injury. I wouldn't even risk that at this point either, though.

Congrats to Petricka

Also conor.

5 hits in his last 2 games...Would be real nice if he turn into something but I'm not really counting on it.

I think he will be a replacement value player but maybe I am too optimistic.

Longest winning streak in the bigs!

Whaaaaaaaaat.

If only we could have swept KC more last year...

Well then.

Hey, win 22 more in a row and we're back at .500. :snr

Fun fact, if you completely eliminate June and July(and only count April, May, and August), the Sox are only 1 game under .500.
