I like the idea of giving Profar more time....do not like the idea of swapping Kinsler for Fielder depending on the money going back and forth.

Yeah that's for 2014. The Rangers will have to pay Fielder 24 million for the next 6 years after that.

Cecil started falling apart right around 30. If you consider genes, Prince may only have a year or 2 as an elite hitter.

Really seems pretty good from a Rangers standpoint. Gain Prince and now have Profar, one of the top prospects in baseball, play second.

Also, he referring to bWAR, which most people consider less accurate than fWAR, which graded Kinsler out at a 2.5 WAR, which seems more appropriate. Still though, it was higher than Prince's 2.2 fWAR last yaer.
