Tanaka tweets that his decision has been made. The baseball world awaits it.

Stand down, folks. Masahiro Tanaka's tweet says that he "cannot decide." (via @IchiroReport)

So who really knows lol

If Tanaka is not a fan of snow and cold, this is a bad year for Chicago to have such a brutal winter. Of course baseball is played in the spring and summer, but at this rate it will be snowing on opening day.

A cold snowy winter combined with an unusually early opening day could make for a miserable first couple weeks of the season.

At this point, does anyone here REALLY want the Chicago White Sox to spend like $25 million per season on a Japanese import whose k/9 went way down and bb/9 went way up over the last two years?

WTF are you talking about, way down and way up? His K/9 went from 8.8 to 7.8 (and it's 8.5 for his career) and his BB/9 went from 1.0 to 1.4 (and it's 1.9 for his career).

Come on, man.

That would be a perfect way for the White Sox to stand out.

Yes it is. You should have quoted me rather than that douche though, because I have said that the Sox should make a deal similar to that about 500 times now.

Why does Hahn have to be doing such a good job with this team? A couple years ago, the Sox would never be in the hunt for a guy like Tanaka. Now we're all sitting here on the edges of our collective seats, being completely unproductive at work. Thanks, Rick.

That would be epic if Tanaka created a half hour show on ESPN to announce the decision. And during the show Paul Konerko and Michael Jordan woud pitch the White Sox, and then an immediate rebuttal pitch by Kerry Wood and Sammy Sosa. And then if Lebron came to The White sox we could rejoice!

This might just be the worst thing in the history of the world.

EDIT: OK, maybe not history of the world, but perhaps MLB history. In the 2000s.

Only if it were in the style of a Japanese game show.

They just reported on the Score that Tanaka tweeted a decision has been made. I think we will hear today.

We are pretty positive they are reporting the same mistranslation of the tweet. Read above.
