I just think the whole Joe Carroll planned his death charade seems a bit far fetched. I'm willing to roll with it because there is nothing better on TV.

Absolutely agree. Last year I thought it was cool that it had to end, but I guess I can live with it because its pretty creepy/awesome

Another great Shameless episode, minus that creepy stuff with Debbie. "Oh, you're only 13? I'm only 20, no big deal."

 

And RE: Lip. There are banners (the ones that hang off the sides of streetlight poles) saying "Chicago Polytechnic" in the background. Otherwise, I thought he was supposed to be going to UC. And that new tutor is gorgeous.

The Debbie stuff really doesnt bother me. Each character gets a creepy storyline, Ian with Kash, Frank with fetish Sheila, Lip with Mandy, Fiona with Amy Smart, V with her mom and Kev, Carl....well all the time. Just Debbie's turn

I watched the first part of the Discovery miniseries Klondike last night and found it very enjoyable

I'm really enjoying True Detective. It seems like it is a slow burn working towards an explosion.

It's one thing to have an underage girl like Debbie want to act/look like her older sister, but the scene with her friends talking about blowing dudes and watching porn? Ugh. I honestly think some of the writers have some issues.

Anyone else watch Episodes? Highly recommend it if you have Showtime and want an easy 25-30 minute show to burn through. 2 episodes into season 3 right now. Matt LeBlanc is great.

You find pedophilia interesting? It'd be one thing if they were to show her trying to act 20 when she's 13 and doing those things with another kid her age (as they have done in the past). This is IMO getting close to crossing a line. "Hey guys, wanna tell the story of how a 13 year old bangs (or gets abused by) a 20 year old? Yep!" What makes it worse is that she looks nothing like a high school girl. She still has baby fat for Christ's sake.
