So glad this is the last year of Dunn.

Thing is, if he struggles out of the gate the first few weeks, I don't see how you keep sitting Viciedo on the bench. And no, I'm not trolling :)

That was not a strike

Garcia did not think so anyway.

He said a little while ago the leash will be short and if there is no improvement, the short term options will be in play. 2 games is a little too short of a leash.

He has been shopping for the replacement catcher for months now, at least. Two games isn't going to stop that process.

I was thinking the same thing. Would've been nice to get Tank a few ABs this game, regardless of L/R. I think they are keeping Dunn in against RHP to show the league that he has some value in a platoon, unfortunately it looks like he may not be any better against RHP this year.

Downs scares me.

San Diego and Houston are the best options, though I am not sure the Sox have much that would match up with their needs without affecting the rebuilding process.

Has Dunn gotten a ball out of the infield? The pop foul was close Monday but these are the guys he should be making decent contact on.

Downs fails today.

the leadoff walk

Hope Downs don't implode

I hate lead off walks especially when it's our guys we give them up

He was far and away the least impressive pitcher on the roster in ST.

Wonder if Robin will be less patient with the pen this year. Monday with just one on against Lindstrom he had two up and throwing to come in.

3 runs isn't enough today. Or any day.

The pitch selection today has been questionable

Strike straight down the middle called a ball there

Pen walking too many.

3-2 changeup to a righty seems silly, especially with it being his 3rd best pitch.

I saw the pitch location on that and thought WTF?

Coop is pissed

Strike 3 called a ball now. God dammit.
