The speed is nice. I do think Semien is a better defender and a better hitter though.

 

Leury's never going to slug above .350. Nor will he get on base enough.

Yup. This was never a debate. If Gordon and Alexei are your starters than Marcus is playing everyday in aaa.

When I saw the Twins led 5-3 I figured Sox were dead and a 1-1 start to the season still wouldn't be so bad. Yet the Sox win! Great.

That's true. I was going to say let Semien play 3B against all lefties and then play 2B and SS against righties when needed, but full time in AAA is probably a better plan. I'm just so over Beckham that I feel its a downgrade to go from Sem to Becks.
