Nieto played great today. Clean d, Johnny seemed to like his calls, and good at bats. In spring training I was worried about his passed balls.

Wow, seems like the better plan was to walk Perez to face the hitless on the season Moustakas.

Easy to second guess Ventura here.

 

Walk Perez and go after 0-14 Moustakas with the slider.

 

Cleto will probably leave a FB over the plate and get lit up by Perez.

 

We'll see. It's not a good choice after Cleto pitched so poorly the other day. Downs is the veteran, and Moustakas is still pressing to get his first hit of the season.

I don't understand why Cleto's the better option over Webb or Delisario here.
