Sale working around Perez to face Maxwell.

At least someone's smart enough to know the odds are better against the lesser hitter.

Oh--there's that walk to Perez. Day late.

Let's see if he has one more left in him.

Hopefully next inning is ten pitches

I guess we give Sale a chance to pitch the 8th. Hopefully he can get a 1-2-3 inning

Still think Lindstrom starts the 9th if it's 1-0 after 8. Should be...entertaining.

Should be interesting to see if the bullpen can close a win against a good team.

Cain/Escobar/Infante next inning.

FWIW, Valencia had the highest average against LHP at .371 last year.

When a pitcher does come in (if it's the 8th), do you go with Belisario or Webb?

Against the heart of the Royals' line-up.

Not even Robin is dumb enough to take Sale out now unless he gets in big trouble

Aren't Webb and Downs our only two relievers who can get anybody out at this level?

Sale needs a quick 1-2-3 inning in the 8th

Get on eaton

Nasty

Belisario has a long, albeit somewhat erratic, history in the NL.

If Webb's already our best reliever, we're in more trouble with the bullpen than previously thought.

And Veal's actually looked okay so far...more or less.

Not a hit but I thought a good AB from Semien. It's like with more experience he gets more comfortable.

Someone needs to update the script

I swear this post has come up every Semien at bat this year lol

what a play by cain

Abreu robbed

Yeesh that showed Abreu's raw power.

Tired of diving catches this series.

Abreu's challenged the wall quite a few times but yet to get that first dinger under his belt.

Now things get interesting.
