It all changed after Garcia got hurt.

 

Scott Downs will probably walk Morneau and he'll end up scoring. We've seen this twice already.

I totally agree. 4-4 game. Feels like it's 8-4 Rockies, and the Sox are 3 outs from losing.

I'll trade a loss for Garcia only being out a few weeks. A loss AND Garcia out for 2-3 months would really wipe away the good taste from yesterday's awesome game.

How the hell was Downs effective last year? He can't get anyone out this year.

Downs has been good for a long time. I didn't remember him sucking this much. He is 37, so there's that.

Downs has looked awful since his first outing in Spring Training. Velocity seems way down for him.

Where the hell was Alexei playing on that hit? If he was in a normal positioning setup, he would have gotten to that.
