McEwing gave the send sign originally, Tank stopped, someone else said they thought McEwing held him up after initially giving the send sign, I didn't see it though.

It was originally a send but pretty quickly held up his arms like right when he hit 3rd base or a splt second before.

Frank Thomas always said that Viciedo needs to bat in the middle of the order to be effective, FWIW.

There are a lot of guys who have much better approaches this year. Dayan is one for sure.

It's a cliche, but injuries really held him back the last couple years. For a guy that was raw as f*** a wrist problem and oblique are not good. They aren't good for anyone but a young toolsy guy without much to fall back on needs to get into a ryhthm and get a lot of PA, for Dayan he's probably about a year behind where he should be because of injuries.

 

Garcia is young and advanced compared to Viciedo so his injury (in theory, and I hope) shouldn't set him back that much, obviously not good to miss nearly a full year, but he should bounce back.
