Win or lose, it's great to see an offense that you think can rally from any deficit! It's scary how much this Sox team reminds me of the Bears from last year.

He isn't exactly showing he is ready for high stakes work right now...

No fastball today. Whether it's from pitching 3 innings a few times this season or just a dead arm today, I'm not sure.

 

Not overly worried about the result today but the velocity is a concern.

 

Agreed, but I do wonder if he'd pick up 2-3 mph of velocity in a closing situation? If not, you have to wonder if he's injured. Fastball is way down today.

 

Someone posted earlier saying the gun was 2-3 mphs off which seems to be true. Scherzer, Q, Cleto, Webb have all been slower than usual.

Yeah it is. If we had an actual bullpen we'd have an outside shot at competing this year. Team definitely has shown signs of a bright future, which is the least you can ask out of a young team

Indeed...today would have been a nice game to win, but winning 2 of 4 with late rallies has been fantastic.

Since he homered on Sunday, Jordan Danks is 1-for-20 with 11 strikeouts and two walks.

I guess Eaton is still hurting

 

Should be back tomorrow, but if/when he gets dinged up again, let's hope they have a better replacement than Danks.
