4/28 vs Rays

Or he's trying to take the pressure off of Semien by putting him 9th? From what I've seen this year, Beckham's probably the better bet to hit behind the runner if needed than Semien is anyways. Nothing to lose with this move.

K rate I would imagine

As well as spray chart, which is much more even for Beckham that last two years than Semien (at least the visual appears that way, not sure how to get the actual statistic)

Robin is hinting at Noesi starting on Wednesday if they don't need him before then.

Semien's failed to make contact a number of times with runners at 2nd or 3rd with less than 2 outs.

His last 6 AB Beckham has hit the ball hard 5 times and walked the other.

Bossard is confident they'll get the game in.

Score early and often.

So does weather.com, only a 25% chance of rain at any time during the game.

Weather updates please. Heading to the game. Thanks to both above.

It's now dropped down to 20% at the most during the night. There is no doubt you'll be fine. Just bring a blanket. "Feels like" 43 degrees.

I think its good to get Semien out of the 2 hole and down in the line up to take some pressure off him but I don't know if I like Beckham in that spot.

But doesn't Beckham have good numbers when batting 2nd? or is that batting 8th or 9th?

Hopefully they are letting people into 100 level, don't see this game drawing well

It's dog day I think a couple extra 1 or 2k usually for that. But yeah even then can't imagine a lot.

Should be no rain until 10

Semien strikes out way too much to bat 2nd much longer. his contact rate not real good right now. Semien may benefit from hitting lower with less pressure.

Probably more for Beckhams benefit, less for Marcus. Maybe to spark Gordon? I hope that's the reason anyway.

Beckham hasn't looked bad since coming back. He's behind on fastballs, hitting a lot to the right side, but getting good wood on the ball. If he gets a hold of something off speed, it's likely he'll smash it. It's clear that the White Sox will try anything to squeeze the potential out of Gordon.
