This game was crawling along in sand. Girardi was about to put in Betances for Kuroda, the 3rd oldest starter in baseball after RA Dickey and Colon. Wanted to get him the win.

Also, Carroll was warming up. Thank god that potentially disastrous situation was avoided with the White Sox taking the lead.
