What a great 1st period. The Hawks are getting the puck out of their zone much easier. The Ducks bottle up the boards pretty good on the forecheck and a lot of time they get possession and start that cycling they are so good at. The Hawks aren't blindly throwing the puck up the boards and having a Ducks player cut it off.
