To be fair, KC is sweeping pretty much everyone they're playing right now.

#WhiteSox had 1 strikeout & 1 walk as a team - both by Adam Dunn. Last Sox player to have the lone BB & K in a game: Kenny Williams 4/30/88

It's a sign.

Everytie I think this team is about to absolutely tailspin they come back for a string of wins.

@scottmerkin: Sale on CWS resiliency: "We definitely repudiate anyone that says that we aren't in this. We think we have a good shot."

I like it when Chris talks all fancy

I got to see a winner!!! And Sale start. And a Jose bomb!! Wooo

Cool postgame moment: Ozzie Guillen giving Robin Ventura a high five and a hug in the hall outside the #WhiteSox clubhouse.

I tell u. Ozzie certainly has been humbled by all this. I bet if he gets a job in baseball again he'll finally shut up with the media. Everybody knows he's a great baseball mind. If he gets a second chance, my bet is he tones down the ego.

As far as today's win ... with all the advanced stats out there, I wonder if anybody can tell us if the Sox will be .500 all year and be able to contend if Abreu continues to put up MVP numbers and Sale continues to wreak havoc on hitters? In other words, does the presence of two MVPs assure a team will not totally suck? I'm guessing Abreu's numbers alone and Sale's may be enough historically to keep a team at least around the .500 level.

Has any team ever completely sucked (99 loss type team) WITH arguably the best hitter and best pitcher in the league on its roster?

DeAza with 3 hits?? Nice.

Also nice to see the Sox not completely fall off the ledge after the Royals debacle. The team continues to surprise (me) with its resiliency. Those of you that have believed all along like el rockin I guess deserve free beer.

With the fireball edit on Cespedes throw, these CGI highlights are seeming to be become a new thing.

I was down the LF line in the middle of 3B and LF. I could not follow the ball off the bat it was hit so hard.

I was at this game in the K Zone. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I sat right next to the bullpen and Abreu launched that bomb like 10 feet away from me. Later on some guy got nailed in the face with a ball from the bullpen.

Damn, did it break his nose/face? Blood? That's scary.

No, he was okay. No blood or anything. The medical staff checked him out and offered him ice but he refused. He said he saw a flash of light when it hit but insisted he was okay. He was in good humor and kept cracking jokes about it. He was probably buzzed. One of the bullpen staff tossed him a ball to keep for his troubles.
