With lumbering guys like Konerko, Thome, Dye, Crede, Flowers, Dunn, Abreu and Viciedo, it can't be surprising.

 

OTOH, if we built the mid 80's versions of the Royals or Cardinals for USCF, we'd get killed by slugging teams in the summer months...just like the Twins in their new stadium over the last 2-3 seasons.

Ramirez should have had Danks out of this inning....home cooking on that scorer's call.

This defense is brutal. Twins close to getting the lead again. Cooper's pitching staff has been incredibly underwhelming this season.

No shock, the outfield defense has had awful fundamentals dating back to the Dye era.

De Aza about worthless throwing the baseball.

For De Aza, THOSE are the plays that never show up on the statsheet, but where he hurts his team. There was no reason he shouldn't have had that ball measured and ready to throw. Instead he caught that ball up over his head, with no momentum going towards the plate, and gave away a run that shouldn't have happen.

Now Hawk is talking about getting our "Karma" back.
