That means that only one member of the remaining top five home run hitters in the league will be added to Bautista's side. He has a choice of Baltimore's Nelson Cruz (28), the White Sox's Jose Abreu (27), and Detroit's Victor Martinez (21).

 

 

Cruz turned down a spot so safe to say it won't be him.

 

 

 

For some reason mlb is dragging this on until Thursday.

 

 

No word on who Brian Dozier blew to get in.

Well he's got 16 homers and I think he was picked since it is in his home stadium.

OK, I never saw any story stating that he declined. I know there is all this stuff about the derby messing with your swing, but I still would have liked to watch him. He is the only thing that would have made listening to Chris Berman tolerable.

I agree, selfishly I wanted him there. Maybe next season they will convince him to do it.
