#WhiteSox lineup for 8/24: Ramirez 6, Sanchez 4, Abreu 3, A. Garcia 9, Gillaspie 5, Konerko DH, Viciedo 7, Flowers 2, Danks 8. Sale 1.

Lead off dinger for Alexei ! 1-0 .

Bring back Sierra

Danks cannot get the big hit.

Hawk is gonna suck Jeter the entire game. This might be tough to take.

He's 22 and playing in Yankee Stadium in the 4th game of his career.

Nice job by Hawk there. In one sentence, he was able to over-promote one prospect ("Sanchez is gonna be a good one") while still pumping a lousy departing player ("But right now, in the field, he's no Beckham."). Hawk is a genius.

Absolutely infuriating. He's not a Beckham, and not a Major League Baseball player. Period.

That's about the usual point where we declare players to be worthless, untalented, lost causes with terrible approaches and say that they should be released.

I liked how stone followed that with "there's not many of those guys around..." then added "defensively" lol

Huh?

When Sanchez made that error hawk said he's not a Beckham lol

>nvmd, your probably wondering about the second part. I read it wrong. Don't know who that's in reference to

Other gems from Hawk today: free-associating on the shortcomings of Joe Pepitone and Ed Whitson, extolling the virtues of Bert Campaneris. Soon he'll get to the year 1988.

Olbermann in the booth with Ed and DJ. Farmer won't let him talk.

Just the last inning?.....I know a lot of people hate Olberman, but I love that guy.

He's really good at what he does, even if you don't agree with him.
